Rt. 10/US 202 Project in Simsbury

Spazzarini Construction Co., Inc. was awarded the $1,698,972 general contract for the reconstruction of Routes 10 / US 202 at the intersection of Drake Hill Rd and Route 167 to facilitate the construction of the multi-use trail. Aside from road reconstruction, this project includes the construction of retaining walls, drainage improvements and modifications to the existing bridge structure. This contract was awarded by the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

Rt. 44 Road Reconstruction

Spazzarini Construction Co., Inc. was awarded the $13,250,545 general contract for the road reconstruction on Rt. 44 in Avon by the Connecticut Department of Transportation. This 3 year project focuses on safety and traffic improvements such as widening the road and shoulders, softening existing curves, and constructing a median to separate opposing traffic. This project also includes the closure of an intersection and the modification of others. In addition to the safety improvements, this project consists of various drainage updates and modifications.
